Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

In short: the only public information about you is the profile you choose to create (alias, country, avatar, message and total contributed). Your card details are handled by our payment processor and we never store them. We don't sell your data.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is the operator of I'M THE RICHEST ("we", "us"). For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, reach us via our Contact page.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate agreements, including:

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of users. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your profile and contribution data while your profile exists on the leaderboard and as needed to operate the Service. Transaction records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically several years). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these, reach us via our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity first.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, restricted database access, and payment handling by a PCI-DSS compliant processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. Children

The Service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, let us know and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always the one published here, with the date shown above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
